THE LASERDARTS ADVANTAGE
You’re serious about darts… and so are we!
Masters of Metallurgy and Machining
| For almost forty years, Laserdarts has offered the finest, most carefully crafted darts available. In every price range, we spend extra time and care to make each set of Laserdarts a masterpiece of metallurgy and machining. Quality does count! As a result, Laserdarts offers competitive advantages simply not available anywhere else: |
Laserdarts sets industry standards for weight consistency. Sets are matched within .05g differential.
Exclusive, black oxide-coated stainless-steel points grip the dartboard surface to minimize bounce-outs.
Professional model Laserdarts are precision machined from full density tungsten alloy… a metal more dense than 24-carat gold. Many of our grooves in a Laserdart barrel are “unidirectional” with a machine edge at the front and gradual taper at the back. As you push forward you feel it. As the barrel slides through your fingers, you don´t. This release aid is so exclusive that we had the original U.S. Patent #4,212,464.

Multi-layered, vapor-deposited coatings of titanium/aluminum nitride, and titanium nitride cover many models of our barrels. These coatings are one of the hardest and most adhesive types on the market for tungsten. The black coating (TiAlN) is used in the dental industry and covers many of your drill bits. The gold coating (TiN) is one of the hardest coatings in the world. So hard in fact, it is currently used by NASA on such things like the Mars land rovers due to its durability. Each set of Laserdarts is covered by an exclusive No-nonsense lifetime warranty. Simply stated, if a dart barrel chips, cracks, breaks or is defective, we will replace it free of charge… FOREVER!
Please Note: Coatings and knurling are not guaranteed against wear.
All Laserdarts are hand pointed. It is a dying artform in the new world of machines where most darts have the points press fit in. The benefits of hand pointing each barrel are obvious to the longevity of your darts.
- Less wobble – hand pointing allows us to make sure each point is put in completely straight. Many press fit points can be put in crooked if not done properly. Our quality control allows us to make sure that does not happen.
- No damage to barrel front – Press fitting can cause stress to the nose of the barrel. Remember, if you press something in then something must push out. These presses can create stress fractures weakening the nose of your barrel. Replacing points may require a bigger diameter each time making the wall weaker as this happens.
- Barrel marking – press fitting darts can cause issues with marking barrels. The tools required to remove these points can sometimes create the same issue.
Laserdarts `MP´ Point Series
Laserdarts has a Moveable Point option available for many of fixed point darts. (Nylon/poly shafts used on all `MP´ Models)
A. In the extended position, the dart point is held firmly due to the point taper and from the friction between different metals (tungsten barrel… steel point).

B. Upon contact with the board surface or wire, the dart point is released and the kinetic energy of the entire barrel weight drives the point to either side of the wire and into the dart board.

Flights now rotate away from the path of subsequently thrown darts… providing more precise groupings.
The “MP” feature will result in…
Fewer Bounce Outs… thus higher scoring.
Fewer Deflections… as flights on thrown darts will rotate from the path of incoming darts.
– No Front-end weight loss as the point channel runs the entire barrel length.
– No mechanisms to work loose
– No parts to wear or malfunction
– No tools to replace points
– Points changed in seconds
– Point have lube-groove for extra long life and free spinning enhancement.
– Five replacement point lengths available: 2.3”, 2.5”, 2.7”, 2.9”, 3.2”
The `MP´ option utilizes the EL-C System trademarked by VOKS DARTS INC.
